(EDIT 2020: Wanted a fresh start and I tried to fix a few things with this fic but ended up deleting it and my old account so this is a reupload from last year, a few things have been edited too!)
Akira Kurusu is a simple country boy who got caught up in an unfortunate situation, trying to do the right thing but ending up getting falsely accused of assault and sent to juvie. He's then sent to reside in Tokyo for the duration of his probation. However, it's not such an easy thing to adapt to right away, considering all he's ever known in his life is the quiet, less populated countryside town that he was born and raised in.
He's a little nervous.

Something was definitely wrong with Akira. Sure, the leader of the Phantom Thieves was a busy man for only being a teenager, but he always seemed to make time for his teammates. For him. Of course, his tendency to overwork himself wasn't why he was worried. Lately, he has been avoiding everyone. He was abnormally quiet in the group chats and things always seemed to come up when they planned to meet up. It was so unlike him that all of the thieves had begun to worry for their leader. Part of Ryuji felt selfish for wanting Akira's time when he did so much for them already. Maybe he just wanted time alone?

Akira gives in to the distance and stands up, plopping down on the bed, moving Ryuji’s legs so he can sit down. “Lemme see.”
He skims the text, skipping over all adjectives, only pulling out what’s necessary from the text. It’s from a slightly shady website catered to either horny teenagers or confused virgins. Akira feels as if Ryuji fits into both categories well enough.

Spending Christmas with the coworker he hates isn't exactly how Ryuji pictured his holiday.

His boss suggests a crazy alternative, doing the project with Ryuji Sakamoto. It's bad enough that he's a rookie, and even worse that Akira has a crush on him.
