Mira suspected one of the cart wheels was crooked.
The cart always went a little sideways when she tried to walk straight.

or: Mira was also being pulled to a direction she hadn't noticed before.

    Mira fucking hates her.

(Rumi can’t exactly stand her, either.)

(or, after months of fighting, celine forces rumi and mira to work together in her greenhouse; shockingly for everyone involved, it goes better than expected)

    Parents’ Day was approaching.

For Rumi, Parents’ Day had only ever been about paying respect and curtly expressing gratitude. She had never had a real parent to celebrate during it.

But now... now she had a mom to celebrate with.

    Summary

So. Sex. That was… a thing that would happen at some point. With the trajectory of whatever level of intimacy this was when Rumi’s hands skimmed the smooth planes of her stomach, it would probably happen sooner rather than later.

Except now Mira was freaking out that she was supposed to have magically known that it should have happened a long fucking time ago.

Mira and Rumi have been dating for more than a year, and things are comfortable. They're so, so good, and they're building a life together that they can both be proud of. As far as they're concerned, their relationship is perfect.

    Almost perfect.

An offhanded joke highlights that they might have skipped some common milestones. The only solution, of course, is to make up for lost time and never, ever admit to each other that when it came to sex in their relationship, neither of them had really even thought about it until now.

Featuring: Mira accidentally bluffing her way to success(?), soft feelings and self discovery, and Rumi's gradual descent into madness via WikiHow sex guides

Zoey has designs on asking Rumi out. Unfortunately, Rumi's obliviousness is a stumbling block that Zoey's romantic gestures can't seem to get past.
