I...kinda gotta talk to you about something-” He rubbed the back of his head as Dabi groaned. He pulled himself up, sitting back against the wall as he cleaned his hand off with the thin sheet. Gross, but whatever, he’ll clean it up later. When the pigeon isn’t still in the room. His brows furrowed as he did his best to get himself somewhat professional looking again. Hawks was here for business reasons, after all.
“Bout what.” Dabi asked with the poorest attempt he'd ever given to not sound annoyed and one step away from setting his room ablaze.
“Bout...stuff.” Hawks replied sheepishly, god, Dabi hates this bastard.
“You fuckin’ with me, birdie?”
“Look- I just wanted to relay back some intel on the Commission's plans for the next few months! Didn’t expect you to..."
“Be jerking off? Yeah, real nice of you to stop by. You catch a good view?”

"Something's poking me." Dabi whispered under his breath. His head turned immediately to the Hero. Hawks' eyes darted around, his head turned so far from the other it looked painful. Eyes heavy, pupils blown wide, lip caught underneath a sharp fang, his fingers tapping the brick wall behind him.
Golden skin slightly reddened closer in color to the fluff of feathers keeping them trapped in this narrow space. "...Now we're even." Hawks rasped. Dabi twitched. Oh god, there's no way. His head fell back against the wall as he snickered. The snort turned to a deep chuckle, then a straight up laugh. Hawks turned to face him once again, irises shrinking with nerve.
"You've GOT to be kidding-" Dabi laughed, his forehead head close to meeting Hawks' nose with just how amused he was. He'd forgotten all about the self inflicted pain he caused, now his head was filled with laughter, the good kind. "Don't laugh, dick!" Hawks whined, kicking Dabi's foot with his own, causing the other to laugh in pain.
