Summary
All of Aether's brain power came to a screeching halt as he processed the Harbinger's words. Stepping back, he blinked incredulously at the other. “You... Huh?”
The Traveler didn't swear too often, but honestly, what the fuck?
-
The Traveler has met the dreaded Balladeer three times already - by sheer misfortune. This time, however, their encounters will have nothing to do with luck, and everything to do with the strange acquaintance they share. And Aether is not quite sure he understands any of it.
Or: an alternate version of the canon storyline, where Scaramouche and Aether form an uneasy alliance in Inazuma and unwillingly learn more about each other, leading them to grow closer than they ever intended.
