Summary
There are many things in life that are, more or less, a mystery to Mike Wheeler – how does the TV work? Or Walkmans? Why do people yawn? Who invented the microwave? Why does he possess the uncanny ability to burn the popcorn in it every single time without fail?
These are just a few of the questions that idly wander around his brain on the daily. The biggest, yet to be explained mystery of them all, though, is the question of how he, Michael Wheeler, got so fucking lucky. He’s thought about it long and hard, but so far, no answer has presented itself to him, and so he continues to ponder the thought with a childlike wonder, an amazed puzzlement.Or: A Week in the Life of College Byler.

It hadn’t been love at first sight, though it might have been, hadn’t they been only eleven when they first met. He didn’t fall in love with Remus slowly, did not fall in love with him while screaming at each other in the rain (and be sure that Sirius and Remus had screamed at each other a bunch. After all, they were still teenagers. Sometimes, there even was rain involved).

Summary
Neil’s past is hunting him.
Back when he was on the run, he used to be so busy actively trying not to die that he usually had no time to ponder over it. Of course, it wasn’t ideal, but compared to trying to come to terms with one decade’s worth of trauma, running away from his dad the murderer seems easy. Neil misses it sometimes, honestly.
