Summary
In a world where Omegas are treated as worse than even second class citizens, Cas has managed to survive living in "The District". The District is where all umated Omegas, and those without guardians are sent to live. It's a slum where they are easily forgotten. Crime and prostitution abound there. After being tossed out in his first heat, Cas is taken in by a great aunt who lived just long enough for him to secure a teaching degree. After her death he was sent to The District. He avoids aggressive Alphas that would force him into prostitution or claim him against his will. At 40, he doubts he'll ever find his true mate.
Dean is a successful Alpha unlike most others. He respects everyone, but he has held out for years in hopes of finding his true mate. By age 37 he has all but given up, so when he meets a pretty Beta while out shopping and she asks him out, he says yes. He just wants to be happy for once in his life.
When their paths cross, they realize they've finally found their true mate, but someone else says they have a claim on Cas, and things are about to get messy. In order to save Cas once and for all, Dean has to save all Omegas.

Summary
When the flower shop owner sweeps his fingers through his hair, he nearly knocks the flowers tucked behind his left ear off; he spends a fussy moment readjusting them with both hands. “I don’t need to be rescued. Especially not by a stranger.”
Sheesh. Touchy.
But since Dean would have flashed fangs if anyone had thought he couldn’t take care of his own damned self, he can’t be throwing any stones. He shrugs—big and exaggerated, both hands up. "Not sayin’ you did. Look, not your fault that God put alpha brains at the base of their dicks."
The lowered blue eyes snap back to his. Flower Boy inhales with his lips parted, all pretense at not sniffing Dean out gone, and his eyes go wider.
Dean might not dress or act or look like any kind of sweet little omega, but he knows just what he smells like: really fucking inviting.

Summary
Dean is serving time in one of the most notorious prisons in the country, Purgatory. He spent the first year in there not taking any crap from nobody till one day the warden, Chuck, warns him that if he steps out of line again he'll throw him in the Empty and forget he exists. Dean has to be good. That's difficult when he has Gordon out for blood and Alastair out for his ass.
And to top it all off Dean's new cellmate is a member of the Russian mafia. He isn't too sure how long he's going to survive with those cold blues. Cas is dangerous and yet Dean finds himself unable to look away.

Summary
“I don’t understand.” Shaking his head, Castiel tries to make sense out of Sam’s words, “You defeated Chuck. You got your freedom back. That was what Dean was fighting for the whole time, why would he just throw that away, Sam? What happened?”
“What happened?!” For the first time, Sam turns his eyes away from the road and his voice rises, suddenly laced with fury, “Man, you fucking died! What else do you think would mess him up so badly?!”

Coming back from the Empty after a whole year, Castiel discovers that the Bunker is not the home of the Winchesters anymore. Quickly the hunters who are residing connect him to Sam and Sam doesn't hesitate to bring Castiel to Dean, telling him some very unexpected things during their way. Now all Castiel can hope for is that Dean is able to forgive him.
