Summary
This is Corrin's fourth time attending this particular gala.
He is 21 years old and 439, and upon his death - no matter when it is, or what he does or doesn't do - he is born again, back to exactly where it began, and no one remembers except for him.
As he twirls his wine, he reflects on his previous lives and struggles with the point of it all.
(A modern AU.)
