Summary
Three days to close the deal, two South Korea’s biggest corporations, one negotiation table. All for the merger that was headlining every news outlet in the country.
Standing in the middle of it all was Lee Donghyuck, the self-indulgent lawyer who had promised himself that no matter what happened, he would not let months of calculated moves crumble over a single inconvenient mistake.
So, can someone please tell him why the fuck is that mistake sat across the table now, with a smile so smug, looking at Donghyuck like he was a mere low-class lawyer?
Explain to him how a mistake like Mark Lee could judged him from the heights of his own hypocrisy, shamelessly acting like he never spent years religiously kissing Donghyuck goodnight or once dropped to one knee in a greasy Lotteria’s booth with a ring and a promise he never intended to keep.
or
A multi-billion merger and two exes who might destroy each other before they could sign anything.

VOGUE July 2027 Issue Interview with Mark Lee
Q. What do you consider the biggest challenge starting over as a solo artist?
It’s kind of hard to explain. Even now, I am still not sure on how i should say this, or if saying this even makes sense at all, but i think the hardest part of this is doing it alone.
I used to stand on stage with others. While of course I also had stood on it by myself, but once the curtain closes I just know that there will always be someone waiting for me to stand with them again. But now the stage feels bigger no matter how small the venue is.
Q. Do you still keep in touch with your former members? Both 127 or Dream or maybe NCT in general?
(Mark laughed. Vogue received no answer on the question)

Summary
“Tell me about yourself, hyung.”
“Like what?”
“Anything. Anything you might have never told me before.”
Mark was certain that Donghyuck knew everything about him. Donghyuck was his best-friend. He was the one Mark spent all his summer with. He was the one who went to bed with Mark for almost every single night. He was the one walking home with Mark from and to school. Mark was certain that Donghyuck knew everything about him, but one glance at Donghyuck and every single belief crumbles to his feet.
“I’m in love with you, Hyuck.”
______
By the end of summer when Mark turned twenty two, Donghyuck woke up and he didn't remember any single thing about Mark.

Summary
Donghyuck opened the book and showed him a page. The sentences are written on the book with a glittery yellow ink. It says;
Things to do before I die:
1. Get a tattoo.
2. Score at least 80 on my science exam.
3. Overnight trip to the south.
4. Do things I shouldn’t do with a boy that isn’t my boyfriend.
5. Rob a bank.“So, what this has to do with me?” he asked.
“You are the one that going to make it all happen.”
or, where Mark just wants a normal high-school life but instead got himself tangled into the way of his bright and obnoxious deskmate, Lee Donghyuck's life to fulfill his wishes. Though he knew how it would end, falling in love along the way was surely not the best idea of all.
