Bright flowers sprout from the left side of his face, a shock of gold against his ink-dark hair. Spilling over the shoulders of his hanbok, filling the air with her fragrance. Spicebush branches bloom from his shoulder blades, flowers turning their faces towards the sun. Haah. Of course. He’d always dreamed of flying — so of course the shape would remind her of a bird’s brilliant plumage.
