Summary
She’s still clutching the essay in her hand, but she’s flipped it over so that that stupid letter will stop making her feel like shit. The urge pulls at her to read the comments her professor left, but she fights the temptation.
They go the full twelve rounds, and eventually, MJ loses. She turns it over in her hand and begins to read the small red ink the professor has laid all over her paper. She should have developed her topic sentences better. She should have found some evidence that better suited her point.
I can’t believe you, Shelley. Don’t you want to go to college?

I know the summary is kind of angsty, but don't worry, it gets better :) also, I suggest reading the first four parts of the series before this one!

Summary
It’s 2019. In a universe where Thanos didn’t snap: Steve Rogers has retired and Sam Wilson has taken up the shield; Bucky Barnes has his mind to himself again and is trying to make amends; Tony Stark has moved upstate with his wife and infant daughter; and there’s a new masked vigilante haunting the streets of Queens.
And in other news, there are still no new leads in the 2007 unsolved disappearance of three-year-old Nicholas Stark from the Italian beach villa where he was vacationing with family and staff.

Summary
“You got that Iron Man toy, right?” May asks, the night before Christmas Eve.
“Oh,” Ben says. “The action figure. Right. I, um…”
“You did not forget to buy that,” she says, voice firm. “That is the only thing Peter has talked about all month. He is obsessed with that damn flying tin can.”
“I got it,” Ben says. “Of course I got it.” He smiles at her, nodding. “C’mon May, would I forget that?”
He totally forgot that.
