Summary
Katie hastily pushed Multi away, both of their lips glistening with spit under the sea lantern lights. She whipped her head towards the stairs, hearing Ewron quickly approaching the second flight.
“Hide! What are you doing?!” she whisper shouted, carelessly shoving Multi in an attempt to make him disappear.
“Where? Where?” he hissed in return, his eyes quickly scanning Katie’s large and bare meeting room. There’s only the long meeting table and two chairs and there’s no way he’s going to hide under the table, who knows the last time Katie’s mopped the floors and—
“The table! Get under the table!” she hurriedly pushed him down, panickedly urging him to move faster as he scrambled under the long quartz meeting table.
