“Chuuya kidnapped me?” Dazai’s eyes were narrowed, searching the older man’s face before giving him a wide closed eye smile. “If Chuuya wanted me in his bed that desperately he could have just asked.” His tone was bright and chipper, words picked to mock and irritate Chuuya. Dazai wanted to rile him up- it would make him easy to manipulate, easier to trick into letting Dazai go. Which wouldn’t happen, not when this was maybe his only chance to do this.

Summary
“Why don’t you want me?” Yuuji interrupts, voice small and at odds with how much larger than life he usually is. “Is it my family?” Yuuji continues, a tremble beginning in his voice. “Is it me? I know I’m not as smart as Kamo but…” he exhales, looking up at the ceiling, a single tear falling down the side of his face.
“I loved you. I love you. I’d be so good to you,” he hiccups, tears now spilling down his cheeks. He raises a hand to roughly wipe away his tears, over and over as new tears replace old ones until he gives up and holds his face in his hands.
A pinky promise made under the cover of night seals Yuuji and Megumi together from childhood to adulthood.
