Debbie opened the door to find a kid that was maybe, like, six years older than her standing there. He was scrawny, with red hair and freckles all over his face. He looked too nervous. Debbie didn’t like it. “Is uh, is Fiona here?” He asked.
Debbie blinked. She squinted her eyes at him. “You’re too young for her.”
The guy’s face shriveled up in disgust, and he scoffed. The cold air created a cloud as he did. “Trust me, she’s not my type.” He shuffled on his feet, holding the ends of his jacket tightly. “Could you just- tell her it’s Ian?”

What they were met with was a mess. There was blood all over the floor and splattered on the walls. It hadn’t dried yet; the room was so quiet Ian could hear it drip from the wall onto the floor. His heart dropped and he scanned the room for which of his siblings was hurt. He heard a whimper and turned to see Debbie curled up in the corner of the stairs.
He ran to her immediately. “Hey, hey Debs. What’s wrong?” She made another pained sound and curled up into herself more. There wasn’t any blood on her, but next to her was the killing bat. And there was a lot of blood on that.

Fiona wakes up gasping for air. It’s a nightmare. Again. Like she’s had since leaving Chicago a couple years ago. But at least there’s a reason for this one. Her phone rings on the nightstand next to her. She flaps her hand around aimlessly until she finally makes contact with it. She hits the accept button without looking at who’s calling her.
“Yeah?” She says sleepily.
“Happy birthday!” Lip calls out on the other end. Shit. Go fucking figure.

Then, Ian started twisting and turning. Lip frowned, looking over the edge of his bed after hearing the noise. Then he heard what sounded like gagging as Ian sat up.
“Oh shit,” he muttered. “Debbie, get off the toilet! Ian’s gonna hurl!” He called out. He heard Debbie squeal, followed by her probably jumping off the toilet. Lip made his way down his ladder to make sure everything was good. He didn’t want to have to wake Fiona.
As he got down though, he could see Ian shaking his head. Lip frowned and went to turn on the light. Now that he was closer, it didn’t sound like gagging anymore. The light turned on and immediately Lip could see the problem. Ian’s lips were white.
