After their confessional talk on the beach, an understanding seemed to have settled between The Doctor and Yaz. Of course, Yaz was disappointed that The Doctor wouldn’t take things to the next level (what even is the next level with her?) but she was also hopeful. Within the space of a day, The Doctor had flirted with her on a pirate boat, to telling her they couldn’t be together, to then changing her argument to saying she might, if she could. Yaz was beyond confused but waited patiently. Because things between them were changing rapidly.
