    Summary

Every morning Daelyra Targaryen wakes up and chooses violence. (Figuratively, at least.)

It might be because she’s Daemon Targaryen’s daughter. It might be because her soul is from another world. It might be because her dragon blood runs hotter than most, and that means more than she knew it could. It might be because the dragon that chose her is the most vicious of them all. It might be because she's a woman on a mission.

So many might-be’s, but one thing is certain: she wasn’t meant to exist, and the sole fact that she does was enough to knock the world off its axis.

Why not push the change further?

Or: Targaryens really aren’t human and expecting them to conform to human standards rarely ends well, and sometimes an unhinged woman with an unhinged dragon is all the world needs to prevent a disaster long in the making.

Kate and Leopold are happy in the past. Stuart and Charlie are happy in the present. Easy-Peasy, right? Unfortunately, when it comes to time travel, matters are rarely that simple.

Aang might not be the only airbender and might not be the only one with a past life. That doesn't mean Vidya was going to mess up one of her favorite show. Nope, she just want to survive and enjoy life. Maybe that's the reason why she keep running into people she knows.

Everyone knows how the universe loves to prove you wrong.

    Summary

Aang had always been inquisitive. Curious. Gyatso had always said so, his eyes warm and his tone complimentary. The other elders… less so. Especially after they told him he was the Avatar. His questions slowed down lessons and prompted deviations, which admittedly was often Aang’s goal. He’d get bored and confused and he’d find something else interesting to think about and then he’d have a million questions about that.
But today Aang was literally made of questions, a thousand thoughts stitched together with only haphazard threads of self restraint and better sense.
There was another Avatar here. And she was alive and real and only a few years older than him. Every other Avatar he’d talked to had been old and dead and done with the job and they’d been filled with certainty and wisdom and absolution. Or they were statues.
For the first time in two years—really, Aang’s entire life, not that he’d known it—Aang was no longer singular.
Like him, Korra was an Avatar.
    Like him, Korra could airbend.

Aang POV of select scenes in The Avatar and the Last Airbender. Need to read that first.
