On impulse, Mithrun grabs Kabru by the strap of his armor and pulls him down. One brush of Mithrun’s lips against his, Mithrun’s open mouth against the gentle curve of Kabru’s, just to test.
Just to taste.
He lets Kabru go and nods. “Okay. Let’s rest,” he says, and Kabru, looking rather thunderstruck, follows him.

It’s homeroom once again, and once again, Kabru finds himself staring longingly at the back of his teacher’s head. Slowly, slowly, he lets his eyes travel down.
Down the silver of his hair, tangled curls cut into a short cute bob, the pale nape of his neck and the gray collar of his coat. It had to be tailored—it showed off his figure too much to be something off-the-rack. His green pinstripe pants were cut in an endearingly old-fashioned way.
Mithrun of the House of Kerensil, their new elven homeroom teacher, took his job seriously, and that had been the source of Kabru’s doom.
