Summary
After the Upside Down was destroyed, Will found a letter from his younger self:
1. I want to make new friends.
2. I want to be done with the Upside Down.
3. I want to get a job and have money.
4. I want a cool car.
5. I want another dog.
6. I want cool clothes.
7. I want to become an artist.
8. I want to find someone who loves me.Is it stupid? Yes. Does Will still want to try it and see what happens? Also yes. He’s tired of being the same old loser he’s always been.
Then El discovers the list. She wants to write one too. Before Will knows it, everything is changing for the pair of them. A lot of it for the better. Maybe they can even find love?

Summary
Will has three secrets, and it’s killing him inside.
It’s been a year since the Byers family moved back to Hawkins and into the Wheelers’ house. A year that the team has spent planning crawls and their next move to find Vecna.
A year where Will and Mike’s friendship has developed into something neither of them can put words on.
A year where Will has had to hide his secrets and fears from everyone, acting like it isn’t tearing him apart from the inside.Keeping these secrets starts getting remarkably more difficult once Mike notices that something is wrong, and he tries to cheer Will up in the most Mike-Wheeler-ways possible.
But the danger is closer than they think and Will has to face his fears before it’s too late.
Or
Will is dealing with a lot and Mike won’t leave his side. And they’re both being oblivious about it.

Summary
“Will Byers?”
Will glances around, as if there is another Will Byers in their vicinity. He manages a small smile. “Yeah, it’s- uh. It’s me.”
Mike rushes forward, and all he can think is holy shit, Will is alive, as he’s throwing his arms around the other boy and tugging him in for a crushing hug. It isn’t until Will is secure, nestled–maybe a bit stiffly–in his arms, that Mike starts crying.
“I thought you were dead,” Mike murmurs, muffled by Will’s jacket. He sniffles. “I thought- we- they told us you were dead.”
Or, Will was never found in S1, but survives in the Upside Down until 1987 due to his powers and connection with Vecna. Cue Mike, an ill-timed trip to the Upside Down, and a lot of feelings.
