Summary
Damn it, Francis is so late. James is going to be angry with him again, if he is not already.
A wall of sound, disco music mixed with chatter and the clutter of silverware against porcelain dishes, greets him as he squeezes through a crowd of people and pushes through the doors into Her Majesty’s.
The club is bustling with energy tonight. It is a packed house, close to seven o’clock on a Friday evening. It seems like every single table on the floor is filled, some with extra chairs half-hazardly shoved in to accommodate one or two more than capacity. He spots some regulars in between the odd faces, some sitting at the bar nursing cocktails, others piled in with friends or family at the tables close to the stage.
They're all eagerly waiting to see her. The Great Miss Fitzjames.

The mom didn’t back off.
“Come on,” she nudged, “tell me you’re not single. A man like you shouldn’t be.”
“Well…” Robby said, exhaling softly, “actually, you see that blonde nurse outside? That’s my girlfriend.”
Jack froze.
Ms. Campbell seemed as caught off guard as Jack himself, the smile on her face faltering as the words sank in.
It made sense. Of course it made sense.
Robby and Dana.
Or, Robby and Dana use each other as pretend significant others whenever a patient doesn’t take no for an answer. Jack, being new, has no idea about the arrangement.

“I am” Luke can’t help but answer, registering that the bartender asks what he’d like to drink.
“Whatever he’s having” Luke says, taking in the lines across Din’s face, watching as the annoyance morphs back into confusion.
“Not interested” Din says, though he looks away.
Luke grins wider.

Luke Skywalker is not running away from his problems, per se. Merely putting a safe distance between he and them. He’s doing this by running around the country, helping people where he can, when he comes across the perfect candidate and offers to drive him to his son.
Luke gets a lot more than what he bargained for.

Summary
On the second floor of the biggest fraternity house on campus, there is a hallway known by the childish moniker of "Makeout Alley."
But, for those in the know, there is a discreet door at the end of the hall. A little closet, perfect for those who need a more private place for their sloppy, drunken sessions. Two tipsy men strut down the hall to their own secluded paradise.
”Is it empty, Robby?” Jack asks. He's buzzing; he and Robby just finished their Match exams.
Robby nods, "Yep. No time to waste. We've got five minutes, if we're lucky."
Or; finishing the biggest exam of your career calls for a celebration.

Summary
After returning from the Arctic Francis is determined to confess his feelings to James. He just needs to wait for James to return from seeing family and taking some rest for his health. He never gets the opportunity, instead hearing that Captain Fitzjames has passed away.
An invitation to James' childhood home leads him out of his grief and to meet James' family. And a strange woman who looks and acts much too familiar for Francis to ignore.
