Summary
Hermione Granger's best friend, Harry Potter, just got married to the love of his life, Theodore Nott, and she’s in a terrible mood. It's not that she's not blissfully happy for him, because she is; it's just that they've booked their honeymoon with their entire wedding party, which includes Theo's best man, Draco Malfoy, her mortal enemy.
Everyone in her friend group are paired off, and as the last two singles, she's been chained to her greatest foe the entire bloody holiday. He's driving her mad with his stupid chiselled body and the way he insists on hovering, obscenely tall. It's clear his overbearingness is because he's sizing up her weaknesses, and at any moment, the trap will spring.
But she's far too clever to let him get one over on her. No, not on her watch. The tension keeps building, and it has to be leading to something, and on a night out, she finally realises what.
A duel.
Obviously.
