honestly one of the best fics ive ever read it will leave a mark on me for a long time but without the gut wrenching angst! still angsty but in a way that gets resolved quickly(ish lmao) giving the slight heart ache without it being so extremely gut wrenchingly consuming that you cry.
definitely a flurry of emotions and made me throw my phone across the room (only once but i heavliy considered doing it again like a chapter later) and scream.
it was also so beautifully written and the vocabulary was honestly top tier. not only that but the oc's were actually rounded characters that have a purpose rather than being annoying side characters that dont have consistent character traits/development.
all and all one of the best fics ive ever been blessed with reading! and best of all, the author actually finished it, but not only that! they finished it in a way that felt right and fitting for the story, not some haphazard sloppy "im so done writing this but i need to finish so im gonna put out something that sucks but hey! at least its done" sort of way that you often come across with these long fics that have been being worked on for several years.
just genuinely one of the best fics i've ever read and i will probably re-read it again! (also dear god this is an essay lol)

Set approximately 10 years after their return to Earth, and the end of the war.
Everyone had their own healthy, and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Their own special ways of moving on from the traumas of war. Lance’s just happened to be dating his way through a string of inappropriate women. Keith was content to watch, and pine from afar. He just wasn’t expecting Lance to do something as stupid as try to marry one of them.
