    Bookmarker's Notes

If you love Light angst, the slow burn, and something about Seungmin being Hyunjin's favourite singer, please give it a go.

A couple of Excerpts that I like and resonates very well with my style of writing:

    1. “Sometimes I forget you’re actually an idol,” Hyunjin says in awe. “I genuinely just forget that you’re this big shot, then you just randomly say something like ‘I had vocal training’ and I’m just like, wow, I’m hanging out with an idol,” he rambles.

Seungmin laughs, ducking his head. “I’m not the big shot you make me out to be,” he says, rolling his eyes.

“But still,” Hyunjin insists. He grabs Seungmin by the shoulders and turns him towards him. “You’re a singer. My singer,” he emphasises, dragging the ‘my’ out.

Reminded me of how private the feeling of love is, like the song of Mitski, "My love is mine all Mine", Nothing in the world belongs to me but my love, is mine, all mine.

    2. There’s this psychological phenomenon, Hyunjin thinks, where a certain memory resurfaces based on a certain scent, or a certain place. Sometimes, he smells citrus and thinks of a certain first love. And very often, he drives down to the Han River just to recall the man that managed to take his heart and mould it into something bigger, better. He sees the colour burgundy and thinks of the time his boyfriend mistook it as maroon.

Something about the lightness and the clenching of angst here is so beautiful!
