"Don't I?" Draco laughed, bitter and sharp. "He's still seeing her, Theo. Still making time for her, still acting like she's just a friend when everyone with eyes can see she's in love with him."
"Ginny Weasley is a poison," Blaise said flatly. "And Potter's an idiot for not seeing it."
"He's not an idiot," Draco said, but she sounded tired. "He's just... kind. Too kind. He doesn't want to hurt her feelings, so he keeps her in his life, and meanwhile I'm supposed to just smile and pretend I'm not watching my husband maintain a relationship with the woman he'll eventually leave me for."
"Draco—" Pansy started.
"No." Draco's voice cracked. "I won't bring a child into this. I won't have a baby with Harry just to watch him realize in five years that he made a mistake, that he should have stayed with Ginny, that he never really loved me the way he loved her. I won't do that to a child. I won't create a broken home."
