Summary
There isn’t one thing in particular that gives it away — there never is when it comes to Hannibal — but Will quickly realises that he’s regressed. Hannibal hovers in the doorway and eyes him with all the curiosity of a precocious child.
Will glances down at his bloodied knuckles as he lifts a hand to his eye, briefly feeling out how bad the swelling is there. It seems to have gotten worse already. He curses inwardly.

Will is recognised by someone while he’s out and is forced to deal with them. He comes home much later than intended to find that Hannibal is regressed.
