Summary
The first thing Levi noticed were their eyes. Angry, clearly frightened, most likely in pain, and reflecting the light from in front of him with two twin mirrors of shiny scarlet. The person shifted slightly, moving in a way that took the light away from their reflective irises and revealed the true color behind them, a startling shade of yellow, almost golden, like fresh orange juice. Levi didn't notice the more important thing until a few seconds later, and he almost rubbed his eyes to make sure he wasn't seeing things. Was afraid the creature in front of him would disappear if he so much as blinked.
This person had wings.

Summary
Levi was curled up under a blanket by the small fireplace, fingers wrapped around his second cup of tea as snow fell softly to the ground outside. The atmosphere was pleasant, the quiet of winter combined with the gentle crackling of the fire and the spicy scent of tea was enough to make anyone drowsy and comfortable.
Levi was miserable.

He didn't ask to be unfortunate enough to starve, and he didn't ask for the unnecessary amount of pride and aggression that made begging the most humiliating thing in the word. He definitely didn't ask to wake up cleaned and cared for after collapsing into the hold of some stranger with one brilliant golden eye, but ever since that moment, his life keeps changing in ways he could never imagine.

Summary
If this is what the bastard smells like on suppressants, then Ed can't even imagine how good he must smell normally. What would the full force of it do to Ed's body? To his psyche? It would probably feel amazing.
Ed hopes he smells half this good to other people when he presents, but knowing his luck he'll smell like dear old dad, not that he remembers what that smells like anymore. Probably it'll be some bullshit like... like... a train car when it's way too hot out. Rancid milk. Automail oil, too, even if he gets his limbs back, because there's no way he won't be cursed with this for the rest of his life. To be fair, he fucking deserves it.
Part of this whole thing has to be about acceptance, though, doesn't it? So, maybe he'll just... be what he is. For once.
