Summary
After Cass saves Tim in Paris, Ra's decides that he's sick of her interference in his plans and blasts her with a magical artifact to get rid of her for good. Tim jumps in front of the beam, and now both of them are trapped in an alternate universe.
...An alternate universe that is disturbingly soft and well-adjusted. The people are happy there. From their perspective, Cass and Tim come from some sort of crazed apocalyptic wasteland.

Summary
Tim Drake knows how to disappear in plain sight.
At school, he is tired, polite, and forgettable. At Wayne Manor, he is useful. In the field, he is Robin—and Robin can take a hit, stitch himself up, solve the case, and keep Batman from falling apart.
The case, currently, is a new strain of fear toxin killing people across Gotham. The victims have no obvious connection, the antidote does not work, and every hour Tim spends anywhere but the investigation feels like time someone else does not have.
Then a teacher notices the bruises.
When Gotham CPS opens an investigation into Bruce Wayne, Tim plans to handle it like any other mission: hide the evidence, control the story, and protect Batman at all costs.
All Tim has to do is act like a normal, well-cared-for fifteen-year-old until this goes away.
Unfortunately, normal has never been one of his specialties.
