Summary
Ten years ago, Marcus bought a female bedslave named Calla. Four years ago, Kallius ran away and left behind his old name forever. When their paths cross again, Marcus is forced to reconcile the memories of his kept girl Calla with the reality of Kallius as a free man.

"Is it you?" Marcus asks redundantly as he approaches her, stupid and lovesick.
Calla turns carefully—except it isn't Calla, but someone that could be a twin brother. Marcus aches for Calla with a sudden ferocity; had he been in a brothel, he would have bought this man's company for a night with the desire to lose himself in a fantasy of having her back.
"...Marcus," the stranger says after a long moment, sending his mind reeling with the confirmation of being recognized.
