    Cursive black lettering had been looped and carved into Beca Mitchell’s skin - a capital B. It’d been there from day one and grown with her from childhood and through adolescence. It stared at her every day she didn’t wear sleeves and stood as the reason she chose sleeves often. With sleeves, she could pretend it didn’t exist.
