Robert “Bob” Reynolds never considered himself to be a very good man.
It didn’t matter that he sacrificed himself to save three people he had just met almost a year ago. Or that, afterward, he had spent months attempting to be helpful while living with his newfound friends by doing the dishes, laundry, and any other chore he could get his hands on before someone else did.
After all—How could a good man have such indecent fantasies just because a certain someone he considered his best friend, his savior, his light, his sun, and—though he would sooner launch himself directly into the sun than say it aloud—the love of his life, had an oral fixation?
Or: Yelena didn’t know what effect it had on Bob every time she had something like a lollipop in her mouth. Or maybe she knew a bit too well and wanted him to do something about it (contains about 80% NSFW content).

Robert “Bob” Reynolds was heading home when he saw it.
As a matter of fact, he almost missed it, mistaking it for the wind shifting through the trash, newspapers, and other rubbish littering the small alleyway. Paired with the low visibility from the rain and fog, it was easy to believe he had imagined the movement altogether.
Except he hadn’t.
It was a small, filthy little thing.
A tiny, frightened kitten.
Or: Bob rescues and cares for a small cat after he found her injured. Wanting to repay his kindness, the feline—Yelena—seeks out a witch to be transformed into a human, only to discover that navigating love, gratitude, and Bob’s very obvious confusion is much harder than she expected! After pinning her in a flash of anger over the reckless thing she did—the thing that could have gotten her killed—he couldn’t ignore the way her heartbeat raced whenever he entered the room. It pounded so hard it felt like it might burst from her chest, and told him exactly what it meant.
She’s terrified of him, or at least, that’s what Bob believed.
The truth is a little more complicated.
Or: One grasp in the moment leaves Bob drowning in guilt, and Yelena is privately obsessing with the strength of his hands.

“Lena, you’re so beautiful,” Bob murmured, his fingers tracing down a thin scar.
In the dark, he followed each faded line with reverent patience, memorizing a map only he was allowed to read. Her scars drew his attention more fiercely than perfection ever could—proof that she had survived every cruel thing that had tried to change her.
And yet his Lena still came out so bright.
“I’m not cute,” she whined, bucking and writhing beneath him. “I…I’m not. I have scars.”
If only she knew that he was looking at every single one of them in the dark and, frankly?
It drove him insane how much he wanted to worship every last one, to kiss the places where the world had hurt her until Yelena finally understood that none of it could ever make her less lovely to him.

His eyes widened a little. “You should try the mango daiquiri, then. I mean—you don’t have to, but I think you’d like it.”
“Maybe,” Yelena said, allowing the word to linger. “If you let me buy the next one.”
For a second, he stared at her, and then he laughed under his breath.
“Oh. Um…sure. Yeah. I would like that, if you would like. Or maybe I should. Uh…” He shifted toward her, extending one large hand with an uncertainty that did not quite match his size. “I’m Bob, by the way.”
“Yelena,” she said.
“Yelena with…no last name?” he questioned.
“Oh, no, I have one. I’m simply still deciding whether you earned it, Bob.”Or: Yelena meets a beautiful, tongue-tied man at the bar after an exhausting day at work, tastes her first mango daiquiri, and decides to do something spontaneous with him.
