    For a long moment, Sebastian is silent. Those twin eyebrow creases had grown deeper the longer Jacob spoke, once he realized how dead serious Jacob was. Finally, he says through gritted teeth, “I don’t find you attractive.”

    Jacob rolls his eyes. “Sebastian, don’t say no based on a lie. If you want to say no, then say no, but don’t lie about it.”

    Sebastian has an old problem, and Jacob gets a new neighbor.

    Grace is pushing forty, still working the same old job as a biology teacher at a private San Francisco high school. His life is pretty unassuming. Mundane at best.
    At least until he meets his new coworker Simon, the twenty-something PE teacher who is hellbent on seducing him.
    Not that Grace would need much persuading. Only, he's a bit too oblivious.

    Grace shouldn’t have come here again.
    It’s a horrible idea. The worst one, really.
    But if it is so wrong, why does the thought of it have to feel so good?
    Simon leans against the cold, white tile of the teacher showers.
    “You can’t seriously stand there and tell me you’ve never even thought about it,” Simon mutters, resting his head on the wall, damp hair falling onto his face.
    Grace gulps, hard. He should leave. Turn back and pretend none of this ever happened. That would be for the best.
    But he doesn’t.
    “I have,” he nods. His lust clouds his judgement, and he speaks without contemplating it first. “I’m thinking of it right now, actually.”
    Simon smirks.
    “And are you gonna do something about that, Mr. Grace?”

    He didn’t have to look to feel the shift above him. To know that Healy was studying him. Maybe he was surprised, maybe he wasn’t.

    “You mean in bed?” Healy asked for clarification.

    Holland nodded.

    Healy let out a rough chuckle at that. “If there’s something you’re wantin, don’t go holding it in. I want to know about the things you want.” His voice was careful. And that was just the thing. Holland didn’t want Healy to be so careful all the time.

    "Who says I have 'scary dog privilege?'" Grace snorts as he helps Adrian put up the equipment at the front of the room. Glass beakers and tubes clink musically together as they’re slipped into their containers and boxes.

    "I'm only repeating what I heard your coworkers say," Adrian defends, holding their hands up in surrender even though they haven't stopped smirking since they'd brought up the subject. They click out of their powerpoint and shut their computer, unplugging it from the projector. "Apparently they saw your husband drop off something for you this morning."

    Ryland Grace is shocked when he learns people think his husband is his scary, guard dog partner. This shocks him because in his eyes, Simon is one of the softest, sweetest, cutest human beings he's ever seen in his life.
