Summary
Recently, Peter has been genuinely considering telling Wade who he is out of the suit. The thought doesn’t scare him as much as he thought it would. When his aunt May passed away a few years ago, Deadpool was there for him through it all. He took Peter’s patrols when he was too depressed to, gave Peter space when he needed it, invaded it when necessary, and let Peter crash at his for a few months. Those few months were enough to make Peter realize that he trusted Deadpool wholeheartedly.
There is something holding Peter back, though.
It’s that Peter’s current life is just kind of pathetic, and Peter doesn’t want Deadpool seeing him that way. Deadpool likes to theorize about what Peter does for work, since he’s “So smart for a smartass”. Oftentimes, what he guesses are way above what Peter could possibly achieve at the moment. He also thinks that Peter lives in a nice apartment somewhere uptown. Something with lots of sunlight and expensive furniture. All of these scenarios were wrong, of course. They couldn’t be further from the truth if they tried. So, he'll hold off on telling Deadpool who he is until Peter gets his life together.
That is until Deadpool crashed into Peter Parker's life unexpectedly.

Summary
Peter Parker has been around more serial killers than most people. Supervillain megalomania kind of lends itself to killing off swaths of innocent bystanders, the same way someone might crush a line of ants under their foot. The difference between those supervillain serial killers and the one standing in front of him right now is that this serial killer does it intentionally, is proud of it even.
And Peter came to find this one on purpose.
Maybe he should have expected the existential crisis that would follow.
OR
Spider-man is a vibrating ball of rage and he needs someone to crank his release valve so he doesn't lose his shit. Enter one murderous mercenary.

Summary
An up-and-coming masked hero is revealed to be a serial killer, and the public is terrified. Everyone's demanding that Spider-Man reveal his identity for their own safety, and as if that isn't enough, Deadpool is hired to make sure it happens. Peter's stressed enough as it is with work and rent and school and a new super villain cropping up — he just doesn't have time for this. He especially doesn't have time for Deadpool accosting Peter Parker, wanting Spider-Man's photographer to help track down the elusive hero.
Or:
Everything seems to be going wrong all at once. It's a miracle Peter hasn't had a breakdown.
