    Miss Miko gives the two men a curt smile. “So it was… nice talkin’ to you ‘n all, but we gotta get going.”

    The irritated expression Wavy-Hair pointed at Ken leaves as quickly as it came, lips stretching into a sleazy smile. “Ah c’mon, we were having a fun chat, weren’t we? No need to leave so soon.”

    Cheek-Bones lets out a mocking huff. “‘Sides, who even is this guy?”

    “Boyfriend,” Miss Miko says instantly. Ken sucks in his lips.

    Cheek-Bones huffs again. “Really.” He looks at Miss Miko, then Miss Kei. “Whose?”

    “Both of ours,” Miss Kei says.

    “Yeah, we pass him back and forth like a cigarette.”

    Ken swallows down a very unmanly before it can leave his throat. He understands they’re just trying to get these guys off their backs, but he really wishes they didn’t do it in a way that makes him feel like he has to beg Momo for forgiveness.

    Ken helps Miko and Kei out of a sticky situation. He might not do it unscathed.
