Summary
Sylvester has been to Bugs and Daffy's house for coffee many times, they live down the street and sometimes he needs to get away from Tweety and Granny. Besides, Bugs is kind and friendly and always listens, just like Wile.
This is, however, his first time having dinner there, which is a different experience entirely and one that Wile perhaps should have prepared him for.
He did not expect Bugs to start a fight with his roommate. Or... Whatever they're supposed to be.
For once, Wile is not entirely helpful despite being present.

Bugs's friend, Paul —or Porky, as he calls him, although Wile would rather not— has organized a barbecue for his acquaintances and friends.
Wile did not want to go. He had been very clear about this.
... Somehow, he attends anyway.The grill is now, for some reason, his problem. He did not agree to this either.
Bugs has found the wine, Sylvester has found a new way to torment his sister, and that hyperactive runner he dislikes so much will not stay still for two seconds.
Surely this is a recipe for an uneventful afternoon, right?

Summary
Elmer, the weatherman, said clear skies until eight.
... The weatherman was wrong.The blue haired brat that keeps committing petty crimes was dumb enough to go on a run, and now it is Wile's problem. He hates the guy, and he resents himself for having enough empathy to not let him freeze to death outside.
This is the inciting incident for everything that follows and Wile will think about it for a long time afterward— how something as mundane as a forecast failure can rearrange an entire evening, and by extension, possibly, other things he isn't ready to name yet.
