The duty to her people, and to the world. But when strange dreams plague her mind and prospects of a forced marriage are quickly approaching, she is forced to contend with the ultimate choice. To stay, and fulfill her promise to her people, or to flee, and find out just who exactly those red eyes belong to. Once the choice is made, there is no going back.

Jet did not die afraid and young underneath Ba Sing Sa, instead heading off to the secure Fire Nation prison of The Boiling Rock.
Funny that he should meet the exact reason he was there in first place, locked there himself no less. Of course, Li, Zuko, he knew then, always had to one up him.

It goes well until it doesn’t and Zuko saves Jet in Lake Laogai.
