Summary
Oh sweet girl. ‘I got you, I got you.’ Oh sweet, sweet girl.
It’s been three weeks since Caitlyn lost her eye, and just under two since she’d gotten home from hospital. Recent days had seen an increase in her mobility, the pain from a bruised ACL, a surgically repaired abdomen and multiple broken ribs becoming more manageable. It was progress, great progress actually given how battered her body had been following the war. It just…presented new challenges.
Because Caitlyn would never have tripped over that stool before.
