    Summary

You and Choso have been friends for years, but as time passed on, you two started to drift apart. So you haven’t actually seen him or spoken to him since you departed your hometown to attend school in the city. Now that you’ve graduated and you’re back in your hometown, something is different about him. He’s still the shy, nerdy farm boy he’s always been, but he’s a lot more attractive to you. So when a hot summer day leads to a swim at the lake (and some impromptu skinny dipping), what will that mean for your friendship? And what is your deal with Choso’s damn hands?!

    Summary

“Do you always do that?” I ask. Leaning my hand on the altar, where they typically put photos of the deceased.

Matsukawa doesn’t look up, trying to match each chair in perfect order, “Do what?”

“Make everything… exact.” I take a step forward into the empty space between the altar and the couch where loved ones would sit.

There’s a pause within him, and a hesitancy in the air as he adjusts one chair by maybe a centimeter.

    “Yes.”

My curious tone comes across almost childish, too young, “Why?”
