Nicholas thinks it's fate.
Euijoo thinks fate sounds suspiciously like a recommendation and he has never been good at taking those. Not from his friends, not from strangers, and certainly not from the universe. If he falls in love, it will be his own decision.
Unfortunately for Euijoo, Nicholas is just as stubborn as he is.
Or: a record store, a viral kiss, terrible timing, and two idiots who keep choosing each other anyway.

Summary
Euijoo could be honest with himself, he truly could. Nicholas wasn’t the villain.
He never had been.
He was just as lost in this mess as Euijoo, maybe even more so. At least Euijoo had the armor of confusion, of shame, of a thousand layers of self-denial he could hide behind. But Nicholas? Nicholas had stripped himself bare from the start. All he wanted was to be close, to understand, to make something soft out of whatever this was.

Summary
Regardless, Fuma lets himself suffer and doesn’t complain. He wakes up with a face full of feathers every morning that tickle his nose and somehow make their way into his mouth, and he just accepts that. Accepting it doesn’t stop it from being annoying, though.
“Yudai.” Fuma groans, pulling a feather out of his mouth. “Again?”
Yudai groans from beside him, stretching out his wings as he buries his face in the pillows. “Five more minutes…”
Fuma really needs to get used to living with his new angel roommate.

Summary
Nicholas blinks as he slowly processes, finally, what this must be about. At first he can hardly believe it, but the more he thinks about it, the more sense it makes. Euijoo has been acting off since the tour started. Not just today, but all week he’s hardly looked him in the eye, and every time Nicholas’s line in Wolf Type rolls around Euijoo is as far from Nico and Harua as he can possibly be. It’s almost as if he’s avoiding the interaction entirely.
A stupid grin tugs at Nicholas’s lips, so wide it threatens to slide right off his face.
“Holy shit,” he laughs, incredulous, “You’re jealous.”

Euijoo has a thousand ways to mess with Nicholas’ mind.
One of them happens to be the way Euijoo carries himself during practice and schedules, acting as their charming, reliable leader, which only makes Nicholas crave having that authority directed at him.
