“Please, tell me to just stop for your sake.”
And yet, out of all odds, Kiku wasn't scared.
“No,” he bravely proposed. “I don't want you to stop, Alfred-san. I have never, not once have I wanted you to. Not at all, not when I already can't help myself.”
Alfred wasn't usually a man you'd see so down and melancholic. However, due to the biting fury of his stress, he became someone else that night—per the decision that was driven by the bubbling taste of supposed bliss. And yet, as if he were a source of true hope, Kiku, his closest companion ever since, still helps him despite his drunken state. Brought to feel so much appreciation for him that it hurt to keep it in his chest, a sober Alfred found himself in a situation where he couldn't contain it anymore, and finally tells him about the feelings and emotions in which he had sealed for so long.

As part of a university-led social experiment involving consenting students, Alfred F. Jones and Honda Kiku became pen pals across the globe—across the vast Pacific Ocean—as Alfred lived in America, whilst Kiku lived in Japan. Though the first interactions started hesitantly, considering that both young men are opposites in almost everything, not just in culture but in personality, it doesn't stop them from being inseparable; with all the words written and time given, it's as if the other would always be a constant. Even this bond, one that began as an academic exercise, has become something deeply personal—an exchange of memories, misunderstandings, and quiet trust, and possibly, as the future drifts off, something a lot more special.

Summary
Alfred F. Jones is a famous vampire hunter, probably the best one in the business. Kiku is in love with him. However, Alfred doesn’t exist, he’s a fictional character in a book, destined to stop the vampire Ivan from harming innocent humans.
One night, Kiku is rescued from someone who looks exactly like Alfred. To his surprise, it IS Alfred! Alfred has somehow crossed over to Kiku’s world and more dangerously, so has Ivan. Now with the city in peril of a real vampire stalking the streets, people are dying, people are being turned into vampires, and worse, Ivan seems to be interested in Kiku’s older brother, Yao. Kiku and Alfred team up to take him down and figure out how they got here. Now that Alfred is real, Kiku starts to fall for him even more.
