Summary
A night-hunt goes wrong, and Wei Wuxian is scapegoated for the death of the Jiang Sect Leader and the destroyed core of the Jiang Sect Heir. As punishment, his core is taken and given to Jiang Cheng, and he is stripped of his cultivation credentials and expelled from the sect.

But things change when someone hacks into the Jiang systems and releases the footage of what happened.

AMAZING PLOT!!! I love reading about WWX's recovery and how resilient he is despite Madam Yu fucking him over and MY GOD I FUCKING HATE HER ASS!!!! WN and WQ have my heart forever I love my Yiling trio!!!
The plot is SO GOOD that I didn't mind LWJ appearing in the later chapters although I gotta say there wasn't enough smut in this BUT THAT IS TOTALLY FINE BECAUSE THAT IS ONE HECK OF A GREAT STORY I'D TAKE WHATEVER IT GIVES ME this is just me being a lil sad smut enthusiast oof the lack of smut DOES NOT affect how good the story is so yeah
How I wish it was longer though cause I wanna see WangXian together and WWX with a fully formed (and I assume WAY STRONGER) core and I wanna see them break all the records in nighthunting and be hot together
