Summary
In winter of 1995, more than a year and a half after Aki meets Makima, he learns you are her right hand.
You are practiced, polite, and move through the halls of Public Safety as if you were born in its walls. At any gathering, you are always the first to take Makima’s coat, always the first to calmly order each one of your coworkers’ favorite dishes, and always the last to leave. It’s largely by chance that he meets you at all: mostly by virtue of being Himeno’s partner and Makima’s subordinate, the former of whom refers to you as her “favorite shady person”. And even if he feels inexplicably unsettled—that strange, dully aching contraction of his body and mind when you say something completely unexpected—Aki, in the winter of 1995, barely knows you. The two of you are strangers. Coworkers. Civil servants, devoted to hunting down the race that is devils.
Nothing more, nothing less.
He’s not sure when it all began to read like a lie.

Summary
Tsukishima Kei first knows you not by name, but by your words.
"—Anyways, there's this person who puts up their poems every Monday.” Yamaguchi tells him. “According to the people who’re regular readers, they're very good.”
“Oh,” Tsukishima replies. Then: “sounds a little egotistical.”
“I mean, they're not signed or anything. All the poems are anonymous.”
He pauses. “Huh.”

Summary
If you bring the Prince of Flowers an offering, he might grant you good fortune, a year of bountiful harvests or a magic seed that will sprout into a sprawling orchard with the most succulent fruits. He might just kill you where you stand. All godlings are fickle, but he is worse than any of them. If you want to come back from this alive, you'll have to find out why.
