They stop walking, and they simply stand on the sidewalk. A couple of people carrying bags and whatnot shuffle past them, all they can focus on is each other. Now facing eye to eye.
“Well.. i don’t know.. you just remind me of this?” Luke makes it sound more like a question than a statement as he passes him the bag he had been holding. He un-connects their hands so the bag can slip free and Luke can properly give it to Zander.
“Is that.. cocoa body lotion?” Zander asks once he had used both hands to pry the bag open and tilt the bag so he’d be able to read the bottle. He had almost wanted to laugh if Luke hadn’t had the gall to look so embarrassingly sheepish about it.
“Did you make a surprise purchase when my back was turned or something?” He was trying very hard not to laugh but he couldn’t help but smile at him.
