Summary
It is Harry Potter's fourth year at Hogwarts and he's just been forcefully entered into the deadly Triwizard Tournament. Ron won't speak to him, and all Hermione can seem to say is, "focus on the tournament, no distractions!"
But Harry is tired of it all. He's faced death before and come out on the other side, and he'll do it again.
Right now however, he needs a break. A distraction, if you will. Hermione would not be pleased.
So what better way to distract himself than by stalking a certain blond Slytherin, who's been acting extra odd this year?
And it seems that Harry will learn many things about Draco Malfoy, things he'll come to realize were painfully obvious all along.

Harry is a stalker and Draco needs help.

Summary
Draco Malfoy comes to school wearing Slytherin green ear cuffs. They’re in the shape of snakes, twisting back and forth around the edge of his ears, a brilliant shade of green with jade diamonds encrusted into their eyes. They’re works of art, and look way more expensive than anything Harry has ever held in his hands before, including the Dursley’s fine china that Petunia insisted was worth more than the house. Harry can’t stop looking at the way the snakes curl at their tails, flicking in towards Malfoy’s inner ear in a way that almost looks uncomfortable. Malfoy laughs and throws his head back just a little, the candlelight bouncing off the diamond eyes and practically sparkling.
Something is wrong with Malfoy.
Something, of course, other than the fact that Malfoy is a complete arse.

After the Battle, Harry thinks he's left Hogwarts for good, but Minerva insists that all students return for an Eighth Year if they wish to sit for NEWTs in the spring, and Harry needs those NEWTs to go into the Aurors. Draco's just grateful not to be in Azkaban. Or the Manor. He's hoping he can steer clear of Potter this year and grapple with his own problems. Unfortunately for him, Potter appears to be one of those problems. And that's not even addressing the fact that Potter's got serious issues of his own, which Draco realises as he's forced to share an Eighth Year dormitory room and several classes with the Gryffindor Git. If only they can make it through the year without killing each other, it should be all right, shouldn't it?
