Summary
Running into each other by chance in the uncertain days after Vecna destroyed the town, Robin and Nancy open up to one another. Nancy is forced to do some self-reflection that leads her to a minor sexuality crisis and a lot of inner turmoil but, also, a new beginning.
Inspired by the line “she looks like the real thing / she tastes like the real thing” in Fake Plastic Trees by Radiohead, Silver Springs by Fleetwood Mac, and multiple tik tok edits of Nancy Barb and Robin. This is like a mini Nancy character study moment with her coming to terms with her sexuality and feelings for Robin. Plus I gave her and Barb’s friendship a slight homoerotic vibe like jackieshauna from yellowjackets if you catch my drift, just for fun

Nancy is standing there in the red light distracted by pulling what Robin thinks is a camera case out of her satchel bag as she kicks the door shut lightly. She spots Robin as Robin turns and her eyes narrow. Robin offers a little wave.
“Hi Nancy. We’ve, uh, gotta stop meeting like this,” she jokes.
Nancy rolls her eyes.
“How many times do I have to tell you the darkroom is off limits?”
