Summary
Charlie seems to be spending a lot of time focusing on racing instead of on Babe these days, which causes Babe to feel saddened and neglected, his thoughts spiralling into overthinking and frustration.
Only internally, of course. Babe would never willingly let these emotions show through his unbothered mask — and yet the others at X-Hunter are starting to see through it…except for Charlie.
When Babe returns home from the garage alone once again, this time, he's had enough. Rather than stewing at home by himself, he goes to the bar — the usual place he went to when he was upset, before Charlie came into his life.
And it was also where he used to pick up many of his hookups.
Naturally, this doesn't end well.
