    The silence was palpable. He could feel Vernon stand and walk up behind him. He was preparing for him to just walk out the door and never speak to him again.

    “Seungkwan,” Vernon said. Seungkwan felt a hand on his left shoulder turn him around. He found himself in that precarious position once more. Staring up into those brown eyes, and breathing in his cool scent. They were, once again, impossibly close. Did Vernon not hear anything he just said?

    “Can I kiss you?”

    What.

    Seungkwan swallowed. His mind filled with black and white tv static. He thought too quickly about nothing. He couldn’t quite grasp his reality. Was he here? Was he breathing? His gaze darted between Vernon’s deep eyes and his plush peach lips.

    Then he nodded softly.

    Movie night is the most sacred night of Hansol's week. The one time Seungkwan will permit Hansol to force him to sit through two to three hours of what is, to Hansol, the epitome of true cinema and to Seungkwan, two to three hours he could have spent rewatching Goblin for the third time. Seungkwan's usually a good sport though, he nods and hums at all Hansol's comments and in return Hansol will allow him to put on an episode of Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo or whatever drama he's started watching this month.

    Seungkwan is not being a good sport tonight.
