Summary
Something else destroyed Bill's dimension.
This sets off a long chain of events that lead to significantly better decisions on Bill's part, and eventually a world where, when he does meet the man, he isn't at all inclined to trick Ford into building an apocalyptic gateway between dimensions.Essentially: Bill is more emotionally mature/mature in general. Things turn out much healthier between him and Ford.
Expect lots of research work, bonding, and the occasional gnome.
I completely nerd out over this show, so there will be in depth lore and worldbuilding things. The Theory of Weirdness plot arc is very close to the main romance arc on the scale of arc importance.
