Summary
Cartman and Kenny were staring at him now, waiting for an answer. Stan nervously started to uncontrollably shake his leg, trying to find the right words. “We were never together.” He mumbled.
Furiously, Kyle stood up from his seat and stormed out of the restaurant.

Summary
"I just wanted to ask if you wanted to maybe dance with me?”
Kyle’s anger diminishes and his eyes widen, a blush creeping up his face. Not just on him, but he could clearly see Stan’s cheeks turning into a faint blush of pink as well. Stan can’t seem to meet his eyes.
“Are you serious?” Kyle asks, and Stan extends his hand out to help his best friend get up from the chair. “I mean… I don’t have a dance partner like you. It kind of leaves us two alone, right?”

Summary
"Ok, the question is, if you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would it be?"
The bearded man beside him is smiling softly. He's obviously just trying to be nice, make sure Killua's not feeling excluded. He should just throw out a generic answer, to get them off his back. But he can't help himself.
"My best friend."

Summary
There's no real way for others to tell when Gon stopped being a child and started being a man. Growing up is a gradual thing, after all. But Gon can almost pinpoint the exact moment in his hazy memory of NGL: his limbs growing long and heavy, his clothes shrinking around his frame, the blue blood staining his finger nails...
What he can't pinpoint, though-- even after three years-- is the exact moment Whale Island stopped being his home and began seeming like a limbo he was stuck in.
Can he trust himself to leave again, though? Is he finally mature enough?
He doesn't know.

Summary
“Call it what you want,” Leorio sighed. “Doesn’t matter. You still can’t hide your feelings.”
[Killua thought he was dying. As it turns out: barely.]
