Summary
It's 1960 Yorkshire and middle aged school teacher Edward Niven is bored. More than bored. He is beginning to feel that his life has been meaningless. Married to a woman he doesn't love, teaching children who do not care. It all seems pointless. Then a new teacher moves to town from London. He is a bright young thing that excites his students and excites Edward in a way he's never felt before. But this is the 1960's and their love is not just frowned upon, it's illegal. As their relationship grows, their lives spin out of control and they find themselves on the brink of losing everything. Is love worth all this? Is living the truth?

Summary
“Evening, sheriff,” said the Blaze, his horse gliding in a slow circle around Bailey. The outlaw’s eyes glittered in the sun when he tipped his hat, and Bailey felt it like a punch to the gut.
Oh, the wanting. It rose in spirals around Bailey’s spine, flooded into his chest and climbed up his throat like a wildfire; the tense line of his shoulders, the defiant tilt as he turned his face up. It seized him so savagely that breathing escaped him, and he was somehow frozen solid and burning alive at the same time.

Summary
As Robby lifts his shirt up, Dennis is overcome with the need to bury his face in his armpit until he passes out. The gold chain with its Star of David that he always wears rests just below his collar. As Robby strips off, Dennis allows himself a longing look.
Yeah, Dennis admits to himself, he’s down pretty bad.
He’s certain that the fishing trips his brothers took with their dad didn’t have this additional complication – that of the man taking them being so hot they’d want to cry. Trinity’s comment, ‘daddy wants to take you to the woodshed,’ bounces around in Dennis’s head.
-Robby takes Dennis out on a fishing trip. Neither of them expected it to end this way.

“Ah. Here is a young man transfixed. Do you like Hunt, sir?"
"Do I like him?" Phil tore his eyes from the painting before him and marvelled at the stranger at his elbow. Like him? One might as well ask do you like Michaelangelo? Do you like Homer? Do you like the Alps?
An art enthusiast with a talent for meteorology meets (arguably) the Finest Painter in England. But impressing your idol can be damned hard work, especially when he's all pride and prejudice, and you're all sensibility and no sense. Heavy weather ahead...- Language:
