On a dark night, a kingdom was attacked and destroyed. One gravely wounded knight managed to escape and deliver the kingdom's sole surviving princess to a protective dragon. As one princess is saved, another is given to the Dark One as part of a deal.
A story that includes a precocious young woman, a mischievous wolf-boy, an old dragon that must become sociable, a woman of stature that attempts to look after them all, a lost princess (or two), and some magical friends along the way.
