“Hello, welcome to Illusions in Bloom!” Minjeong’s words trail off on her lips as she turns to greet the person.
She’s at a loss for words at the sight of the woman stepping toward the counter. A gorgeous wolf cut frames the woman’s face, drawing attention to her elegant features. Her eyes linger on the mole by the woman’s plump lips. Minjeong knows a pretty girl when she sees one—but what really catches her attention are her arms. That jacket from earlier is nowhere to be seen; instead, it’s a black sleeveless muscle tank hugging her torso tightly, showing off two toned arms filled with intricately detailed tattoos. The ink begins at the woman’s shoulders and travels down to her wrists. Traditional Korean art dances on her skin, images of dragons and scale-armored lion dogs and white tigers coming to life on the woman’s arms, wisps of smoke curling gloriously around the composition’s negative space.
“Hi, I’m Jimin, your new neighbor. Nice to meet you.” A card is handed to her as Jimin gives a half bow.
“Nice to meet you too! I’m Minjeong.” Scanning the card in her hands, Minjeong’s eyes take in the sleek design. It’s a white background with a cool, wicked metal font: Savage Studio, Tattoos and Piercings.
