You've been Childe's assistant for a long time, and over that time you've decided you didn't want to work for him anymore. His behaviour has started to creep you out, and you simply didn't want to work for him anymore.
However, Childe didn't want to fire you. It doesn't matter what you do or how many mistakes you make on purpose, he doesn't seem keen on the idea of letting you go.
